Created by Chris Hawkins, links to the Star Wars Galaxy made its grand debut in November, 1995 with a "whopping" 25 links. Since then, it has grown into a huge database. In January, 2002, Chris turned over the database (in plain HTML format) to Geoff Dawson, of Xwing.Net - and Geoff wrote a database interface and management system with which to use the links. It's always evolving.
